Lawyers at your fingertips 24 hours a day
Always at the service of victims, lawyers can also serve air passengers who are delayed, canceled or overbooked by their air carriers. Their goal is not only to help the passenger build his file, but to replace it entirely in the necessary steps and procedures to claim his rights.
Contacting a lawyer can now be done in one minute. To fill a simple form is enough to send him his data helping to the creation of his file.
Nothing is easier than calculating compensation:
A restitution allowance is calculated according to a precise scale, which is as follows:
< 1500 Km => 250 €
≤ 3500 Km => 400 €
> 3500 Km => 600 €
Delay
The delays of the flights operated by the Romanian carrier Tarom? It is indeed an integral part of air travel.
Several factors may cause a delay that appears on landing of the flight. However, the delays can be sometimes disabling, and it is in this case that they must be repaired.
In order to cope with this damage and limit its impact and its negative consequences on air passengers, the European Commission has created a law (named 261/2004) which allows passengers to claim compensation whenever their flight is delayed by their carrier. Obviously, it must be a delay of several hours (3 hours) for it to be considered inconvenience giving entitlement to compensation.
Canceled flight
When a Tarom flight is canceled, all passengers are in an unpleasant situation at the airport. There are those who are forced to spend the night in the airport, yet their airline must offer them a free night at a hotel near the point of departure.
In any case, the rights of passengers are preserved and defended by an official law established by the European Commission defining and determining consumer rights in the European Union including passengers who are considered as air consumers.
Tarom flight suspended? Just confirm if this was not due to force majeure and you can claim compensation at any time.
Overbooking
Many of us think that overbooking is prohibited or illegal while it's totally the opposite. Airlines have the right to oversell part of their seats (estimated at 15% of seats on the plane). Indeed, this practice has always aroused controversy, and especially frustration among passengers on condition of the inconvenience it causes them.
Overbooked passengers are passengers stuck and delayed by their operator. In the European Union, things are different, passengers can turn their damage into a source of income. The inconveniences of which overbooking are repairable.
Missed connection
Miss a flight? When that happens, passengers can do nothing but sit at the airport waiting for another plane to take off to their destination.
Given that the inconvenience generated by suffering such damage that is only the reason for a delay posted on the initial flight, it is the airline that served it to compensate passengers stuck at the airport.
An allowance is only made if the cumulative delay on arrival is more than three hours.
My friend and I booked with Tarom and got to our gate before take off (at 8pm gate D22) in Amsterdam. We were waiting awhile and noticed that a flight started to board and noticed it was end ours.. this was concerning so we asked them and they told us that our flight wasn’t being boarded there anymore. We weren’t told this by email or anything. This was super unfair on our part and we had to pay out of pocket for a new flight the next day. Not to mention sleep at the airport which is where we’re still at now. No one would even help us.
